Eastern Long Lions will take on old nemesis Kitchee on Wednesday evening in Mong Kok Stadium. The match will go underway at 19:00.
Eastern Long Lions wrapped up the group-stage by claiming the pole position in Group B. The high-flying side managed to score a whopping seventeen goals in six group matches, easily the highest scoring side amongst the eight premier league teams in the competition. With two more goals scored by sharp shooter Alessandro Leonardo on the weekend, Eastern Long Lions’ attacking trio of Leonardo, Everton Camargo and Lucas Da Silva have now been responsible for thirteen of the team’s seventeen goals in this season’s Sapling Cup tournament, making them a dangerous force to be reckoned with. New additions Jared Lum and Luis Chebel seem to be settling into their new surrounding nicely and should continue to do well in the Eastern Long Lions lineup.
