|Latest Updates on BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League
Regarding the latest arrangement for BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League, Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) issued a letter on resuming training and matches to Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) on 18 Aug after meeting with clubs on the same day.
On 21 Aug, HAB replied our letter and requested HKFA to submit further details for the training plan, including safety and hygiene guideline and measurement. On that night, HKFA arranged a meeting with HKFA Medical Committee and provided relevant documents to HAB on 24 Aug accordingly. On the same day, HAB has started liaising and following up with relevant departments once receiving our letter.
Since it takes time to discuss and handle the process in order to ensure the training could be resumed in a safe condition, thus the training for the clubs could not resumed on 29 Aug as targeted.
HKFA has been working with HAB proactively and communicating with clubs and relevant parties. HKFA will announce further updates in due course.
